This course is designed to introduce students to the Camtasia screen recording software. In this course, students will learn how to create and edit a video in Camtasia. Students will practice navigating the user interface, recording their own screens, and editing their screen recordings.

Objectives

  • Develop a rudimentary understanding of navigating the interface
  • Recognize the numerous recording options available in Camtasia
  • Finetune their video recording by using the playhead and editing capabilities in the timeline
  • Customize their recordings by adding effects and media to highlight key aspects of the video
  • Demonstrate how to export a finished recording
