In our Beverage: 01. Wine 101 course, we will explore the history of wine to boost your knowledge so you can improve wine service in your restaurant and ensure your customers receive the best experience possible. We'll start by briefly discussing the history of wine and explain how wine is made today. From there, we will go over the basic components of wine and discuss the vocabulary associated with this drink. We'll review the different types of wine your restaurant most likely serves and provide tips on how to help customers choose a wine pairing with their meal. Plus, we will describe best practices when it comes to serving wine. Included in this course is a video presentation, downloadable supplementary material and a short quiz to test your knowledge.
