Description
Servers are often called on to recommend alcoholic beverages, and our Understanding the Menu - What's on Tap? course can help you get prepared. In this course we will look at the special customer-service skills required when serving alcoholic beverages and discuss why it is important for servers to have a basic understanding of wines and spirits. We will review the characteristics and types of wines and beers, both imported and domestic, and cover specific serving points for these beverages. Finally, we will introduce some of the more common cocktails and review how and when you should offer a drink suggestion.
