You are at an elevator, and suddenly meet someone, all you want is a quick introduction, but there is a time constraint, what do you do? You can’t be giving a long speech, instead a short and brief persuasive speech of 20 to 30 seconds should meet the brief. The idea is to develop interest in the person listening to it and explain who you are, your organization, idea or product you want to sell or your project. An ‘elevator pitch’ is a short and concise , pre-prepared speech that can used to introduce yourself in any given situation whether it is an interview , a sales pitch or establish new connections.
