Description
We often look at successful people and assume their skills are what made their success possible. In this elearning course, Embracing Yet, you'll learn why success is the result of a growth mindset – and how to adjust your own mindset to match. The idea of a growth mindset was introduced by Stanford professor Carol Dweck in her 2006 book, "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success," which looks at the differences between growth and fixed mindsets. In this course we will discuss the differences between these two thought processes. You'll review why a fixed mindset limits your potential, how to move to a growth mindset, and how to recognize your mindset in different situations. You'll also learn how embracing the idea of success having not happened "yet" can put you on the growth mindset track to reach your full potential. Part of our series called The Growth Mindset, this course includes a video, downloadable student materials and a short online quiz to check your comprehension.
